The Thrifting Series! Part Two!

Wearing: Yellow Print Skirt: (Worn as dress) Thrifted Vintage, Red Gold Detail Belt: Vintage, Le Swing (Barcelona) Lace Up Grey Shoes: Random HK Botique, Straw Hat: H&M
Take Care...Garnier!
For my daily dose of NYC and some Carrot Juice!
I love this guy! Check him checking the lens!

Good morning all you lovely things! ... I never really know whether or not to write the time of day, as it's never the same as the majority of you guys... but I know there are some HK readers out there, who might just be reading this in real time! I hope you all had/are still enjoying the last remnants of your weekend, and it was as sunny as the one I just had! (Still avoiding the sun, so no tanning was had!!!)
So, I'm still not in China... :( mega sad face, I'm actually in bed... this whole being a woman thing can really get in the way of business! Goshhhhh! I'm wondering if I can muster up the strength (and enough painkillers!) to go tomorrow... knowing me however, that's not going to happen- And here the woe of this tale shall end!
Sooo, on with the dress! Ohhh this beautiful, mustard, yellow dress what I LOVE! Yet another thrifty find! It's actually a skirt, which I'm kind of in love with too... but as I was wiggling into it, I pulled it up too far, and then BAM, I was hooked on the dress version! It didn't photograph as well as I'd hoped... I don't think this is a "Street dress" really... It's more of a piknik (how do you spell piknic? piknik? picnic?) YESSS, I got it... picnic in the park kind of dress! It's just too pretty for the streets really... and not in a good clashy pretty meets grimey kind of way, just a hmmm, maybe not kind of way! What do you think? Anyway! I still enjoyed prancing around in it, and still consider it to be a prize find! This bad boy cost me somewhere between 50 cents and 4 Euros... I can't remember exactly as thrifting isn't so strict on the whole receipt thing!!! Either way, it was a bargain! I love how it has the buttons running up the top...which really would go on the back, but it makes for a good transition into a dress dontyathink!
Well, I better get back to chewing on painkillers and sleeping...and dreaming of Chinese visa queues, which I'm still not in! gah! I shall just have to make the tailor work extra fast when I finally make it, so I can hurry up and show you guys!!! :) Have a happy Monday... ahh, as I type the word "Happy" the incredibly loud building work next door has begun! I shall be getting up then!!! xx

This is such a lovely dress/skirt! I love the bright yellow colour and the big print - I generally tend to stick with small prints, but after seeing how gorgeous this one is, I might try something similar myself.
The entire outfit is so well put together: the dress is perfectly cinched in with the belt & the hat is the right complement to top it all off. I need to take notes :)

PS: Feel better soon!

I love how you styled that as a skirt. It usually looks really frumpy on me :( and that print is to die for! Reminds me of Prada.
