Thrifty Little Peacock! (The Thrifting Series- Part Four!)

Black Fedora: Vintage, Grey stretch knit tank: Thrifted DKNY, Green Peacock print harem pants: In&Out (HK shop, not the burger joint!!!), Red gold studded belt: Vintage, Black wedges: ASOS
I think clothes keep me going... there is something really therapeutic and healing about dressing up, and putting on your brave face! Today has been a loooong, tough day, full of waiting. It's hard being on the other side of the world when something happens to your family. The good news is, my dad has had a procedure done which has helped ease some of the pressure on his brain. I won't go into details, but I'm really grateful to all of your good vibes and warm wishes! So thank
you guys! Your support was really so kind.
Just before the light went down on old Hong Kong town Albert and I ran outside to take some snaps... I'd been festering at home all day in no fit state to work, so I threw on some make up and this outfit at
light speed when Albert got home! You can tell I'm a tad stressed out I think, I look kind of strange/sad?... Maybe it's just how I'm feeling! But anywhoo, these pants are my faves! So much so I have them in 3 different colours! They were one of my first purchases when I got out here from a super duper cheap
shop...(In&Out) I guess the equivalent to a forever 21, or Primark if your a fellow Brit!!! I LOVE THEM, MEN HATE THEM! They are true men repellent trousers! The Man Repeller would be so proud!!! I'm very much aware that they make one's rear look four times the size it actually is, but what's a girl to do when they are so amazingly comfortable and covered in peacock feather prints!?! Not to mention, if there were a time to be wearing these kind of pants, it's now now now! Rachel Zoe
would agree I think! I hope you have all had a productive day, one very much not like mine! Thanks so much again for all your kind words... you guys are truly the best :) xx

I guess you do look a little sad but you're so brave for embarking on this adventure, told you that in my previous comment! Those pants are genius, Hong Kong really seems to be the thrifting paradise.

And about your gold Disco Pony dress, I'll send you an e-mail with my size and such, I'd have to know whether it's in my budget and stuff but anyways, I'll send you a mail :) :)

The photos in your last post are stunning! Your boyfriend is an amazing photographer!! Love!

Oooh you've managed to pair the top with the pants so wonderfully!! The backdrop complements them perfectly :)
Honestly, you must have some secret thing that helps you get dressed every morning because it's ridiculous how gorgeous your outfits are; inhuman!

I hope that your dad recovers soon and well, my thoughts are with you in this trying time.

These pants are amazing! They're not exactly the kind of thing that I generally gravitate towards, but I love them! I think it must be a combination of a great, unexpected piece along with your ability to put together such a lovely outfit around it.
On another note, I truly hope that you continue to receive good news from your dad, and that he'll be ok. I can't even imagine how it must feel like to go through a moment like this and be so far away... All the best wishes to you and your family!

I have many a man repeller trousers and I love yours! But I think they can also attract men. I think they like that we have the confidence to wear them and that we dress for ourselves not just to attract male attention!
