I thought I'd completely ignore the pastel trend... It's not something I particularly love... It kind of makes me want to vom a little from all the pastely sweetness... but then I put this jacket over this dress, and I was sold- (It won't last)... Violet trousers and I, never shall meet!!!
The weather today has been so beautiful... I always wake up in the bounciest mood on clear sunny Hong Kong days... A healthy way to arise on a Sunday I do believe...especially with my week ahead! Many a late night in le office du Disco shall be a happnin'! Wish me luck! xx

The Mighty Jungle

WOAH BALLS!... No wonder models have to be sooo super duper owchie manawchie skinny beans, I mean, it's beyond depressing sometimes quite how physically warped the camera can make a poor girl look, despite being, urm, not so warped at all! Once that little clicker goes off and captures you inside its contraption... BAM, you have been transported into another body- one you honestly did not see in the mirror just moments before! (Or maybe I'm just delusional- probably!) It just makes so much sense why already wafer thin girls feel the need to starve themselves for the camera... just so one can look semi normal sized! It's madness I tell you, madness!
So, whilst I am moaning about looking so huge in all my photos, I am ermmm, scoffing down a bag of Marks and Sparks belgian chocolate raisins (Having M&S food in Hong Kong completely and utterly satisfies my Britishness- it's the BEST!), MMMMMMMMMM nom, nom, nommm.... It's a vicious circle!!! I'm not very good at the starving thing... I should really hop skip it upstairs to the gym that landlord so kindly left for us instead! Ermmm.... no, I think I will just stay here, eating my chocolates and watching Real Time!
Despite the slightly "Oh god, all these photos are hideous" feelings I had apres this shoot, I thought I really must show you some of this unbelievably gorgeous jungle we have found ourselves living in... so I fished out the least "warped" photos I could, so as not to offend/shock you!!! I've been living in maxi and midi dresses forever recently (forever recently... ???!!!) contradiction much- oops!?! I love the completely cut out back of this dress... keeps me cool! I really wanted to wear my Disco Pony Gold Turban, despite it being far too hot! I thought it would give a nice pop to the long lengths of black I have going on. This turban is a must for Hong Kong really... It's so humid ones hair goes all kinds of mad here... I suspect the winter would be a far more appropriate time to wear it here, but what can I say... I'm not appropriate, at all, ever!
I have to say the past couple of days have been pretty hideous sadly... I've been trying to adapt and get over my relentless jetlag, and it's all been rather painful! I think I'm finally out of the worst of it now... and should be up and running again tomorrow!!! Fingers crossed! Thanks for your lovely comments on the last post, I woke up to them this morning, and felt a lot better! You guysssss, <3 you!

Yaaaaay! Home page girl, againnnn!!!! I like being homepage girl- I also like being on the same page as an Anna Wintour lookalike model, FUN!!! It feels rather ironic, as I am still wearing this outfit- how many days on?!!!! hahahaha! I've been away in the summer house for the weekend and I for some reason thought I would be in my bikini the entire time! Well, the thing is, apart from the second day rain, we went out for dinner alot, sooooo.... I had to try and re-invent the look as much as possible, kinda looking forward to wearing something else now!!! Happy Monday lovely lovlies! :) xx

Well hellooooo babies of the blog! How areth you?! I'm so tired I feel a bit nauseous right now... alas, I must drag myself out of my blugh and get to my best friends birthday dinner! Funnily enough, it's at the same restaurant I was in last night... Cata 181... Look it up, and if you are ever in Barcelona, GO! Because it is AHMAAAZING! You have to taste it to believe it! mmmm! So not the worst place in the world to be going twice, however, with a seven course menu and a price tag to match, it's possibly not the best for the old "Trying to be healthy" thing! Nor for the wallet... Today has been another day of non stop packing... Ugh, I have nooo idea how to organize everything in time, I can't even think about it!
Scoobs is looking at me whimpering to go out, Alberts dying of a migrane (which I totally share with him might I add!) and I have to get gotten rid of... So I better wrap this up! It's cool enough today to be sporting some layers...  my white, non-holiday-mode self sighs with great relief!!! I hope you all have a lovely evening, I'm jealous if you get to slouch on the couch (rhymmmmeeee!- Sorry Emily!!!) Oh the sleepy sleepyness I feel! Oh but quickly, I should add, this hat is DIFFERENT! WOah you say! I know! It's actually another one of Albert's grandads, which I thought didn't fit me right, but I actually have fallen in love with it after getting it out for a friend! I guess he can have my other one for a while- that poor hat can see another head for once! xx
